FOR THE LOVE OF THE UPGRADE
For people who still have a favourite GPU.
Maybe yours was a GTX 1080 Ti. Maybe it was whatever you could afford at the time. Either way, choosing the next one should involve less tab juggling.
GPUvsGPU is a GPUsed project
GPUsed works with used graphics cards and supplied the benchmark averages and historical quantities behind this site. GPUvsGPU puts those records into a dedicated comparison tool, with exact variants, clear maths and links you can come back to.
Our connection to GPUsed is part of the picture: GPUsed buys and sells hardware, and links here can take you to its shop or contact form. The comparison remains available whether either card is currently in stock.
The bench, with a bit of context
The catalogue currently covers 257 GPU variants. You can put two on the bench, check the recorded FPS and percentage difference, browse benchmark rankings, or open a profile to read its documented release information and GPUsed verdict.
Archetypes and Legend Ratings add the part a specification table cannot quite capture: a card’s character and legacy. They are our editorial judgements. The performance maths stays separate and comes straight from the supplied FPS.
The methodology explains the continuous 1080p FurMark workload, ratings and historical quantities. Detailed comparisons link their factual context to sources, so you can follow the references rather than take a mysterious score on trust.
Good hardware deserves accurate details
GPU names can be awkward. A memory version, partner-board listing or BIOS change can make a broad family name insufficient. We keep those distinctions visible and qualify documented release dates by their actual event and scope.
If you spot something that needs checking, use the corrections page. For a question about the project or a GPU you want to sell, get in touch with GPUsed.
