GPUSED’S TAKE

The verdict

The 3GB GTX 1050 was not simply the 2GB card with extra memory: it gained shader units but lost memory-bus width. It usually improved entry-level gaming performance, while the mixed specification made the name a poor guide to exactly what buyers were getting.
