GPUSED’S TAKE

The verdict

The 2GB DDR3 HD 5550 is a genuine PowerColor partner configuration, documented in 2011. It offered a large memory label on a small Redwood GPU, so capacity alone should not be read as gaming performance. It was chiefly a budget display and light-use card.

documented exact-variant retail offer
Release scope
Hungary; an exact PowerColor AX5550 2GBK3-H retail product was named in a buyer's 18 September enquiry

The retailer identifies the exact SKU and DDR3 memory. A contemporaneous buyer enquiry dates it on the market; a later first-hand seller owned the exact SKU. This does not prove the very first worldwide release or GPUsed's board SKU.

A board-specific test SKU is not supplied with this profile. It identifies the recorded GPU variant; a particular card’s dimensions, cooler and power connections need their own check.
