The verdict
A 2GB GDDR5 R7 250 really did exist as a later partner option. Gigabyte's board paired the larger capacity with faster memory, which makes it different from a 2GB DDR3 R7 250. It still belonged to the lighter end of gaming, where the exact memory type mattered.
GPUsed Legend Rating
2.9 /10Our editorial rating of its legacy and character. It is separate from benchmark performance and is not an audience vote.

- US Newegg listing for Gigabyte GV-R725O5-2GI, by 23 January
An exact 2GB GDDR5 partner board is documented; AMD's initial family options should not be mistaken for this later capacity-memory combination. GPUsed's SKU is unknown.
A board-specific test SKU is not supplied with this profile. It identifies the recorded GPU variant; a particular card’s dimensions, cooler and power connections need their own check.
