GPUSED’S TAKE

The verdict

The 16GB RX 7900 GRE arrived in China first, offering a cut-down Navi 31 between AMD's existing high-end cards. Its performance was credible, but launch reviewers found only a modest step over older hardware and its regional availability made the early value case awkward.
